- I am shipping some fonts as part of the CATSnip distribution, along with
- the corresponding .fontdef files generated by TSnipGen. To the best of
- my knowledge they're all freely redistributable although I don't know
- exactly who's responsible for all of them. There is one .fontdef for
- a font which isn't included; this is the new Kickstart font which replaces
- Topaz and is written to your Kickstart disk by the Kickfont II program
- written by Greg Browne. Even though the font is identified by the system
- as Topaz it will be recognized when you direct TSnip to use "kickfont".
-
- The font-related files included in the distribution are:
-
- pearl.font, pearl-8, pearl.fontdef
- erics.font, erics-8, erics.fontdef
- ericbd.font, ericbd-8, ericbd.fontdef
- st.font, st-8, st.fontdef
- sharp.font, sharp-8, sharp.fontdef
-
- When you install the fonts in your FONTS: directory, rename pearl-8 to
- Fonts:pearl/8, and so on for all the font bitmap files. The .fontdef
- files go in your S: directory (I suppose I should move them to the FONTS:
- directory, but soon I hope to use the fonts directly and do away with the
- bitmap files altogether).
