  2. Now  that  there  are  600,000 owners of fast fonts (ff) It seems that only
  3. those  that have compatible ff fonts can replace the topaz fonts.  I have 3
  4. that  I  use  called  boxy 8/9/11.  These are a version of my original font
  5. replacement  (plink:   boxfont.arc  #3955 10/86 ) made compatible with fast
  6. fonts. So they are all public domain.

  8. These  are  sans-serif  fonts with a box-like (clean) look to them.  The 11
  9. point font is skinny which works very nice with interlace and flicker fixer
  10. on  a  sony.  The 8 pointer has () and [] made a little bold for programmer
  11. eyes.   Feel  free  to  fed  these, but don't tell fed they are bold or any
  12. other attribute or they won't stay compatible with FF.

  28. To unzoo i suggest:

  30. copy boxy.zoo ram:
  31. cd fonts:
  32. zoo x// ram:boxy.zoo  -- the x// will create the files/directories
  33. delete boxy.readme    -- after you read it (its this notice)
  34.  
  35. This will create boxy.font and boxy (dir) in the fonts directory
  36. and at the same time put files 8, 9, and 11 into the boxy dir.

  38. To use with ff

  40. ff -1 boxy.font
  41.

  43. This will replace all 3 topaz fonts. By not doing a >nil: as shown
  44. by cbm, you will get a message showing what fonts are replaced.
