- Double-Click Icons by Jeff White
-
- Here is a collection of some of the icons I have created. Most can be used
- for general purpose programs while others were made for particular programs.
- Two of the icons can be customized by you. Scroll1 & Scroll2 can be put
- together as a double click icon. You can load Scroll2 into the Icon-Editor
- and put your own text in it (Disk.info is an example of this). Then use
- alticon to put the two icons together. You will notice a file called
- ram.inf. Under Workbench 1.2 you can have an icon for ram. Ram.inf is a disk
- icon but since its extention is inf it won't show up on your system disk. I
- access it from the startup-sequence as follows:
-
- copy ram.inf to ram:disk.info
- delete ram:disk.info
-
- The icon will now appear from Workbench. The reason I delete it is that
- once ram has been accessed you no longer need the icon in ram and it will
- stay there until you reboot. Also it gives you that much more memory to use.
- I usually copy Cli and my most used programs to ram for very quick access.
