- When extracting the files in this ZOO, you may use the e// option to create
- all the subdirectories required for these fonts! Simply change to your
- FONTS: subdirectory and extract the files using the e// option. NOTE:
- Some applications choke with too many fonts in the FONTS: subdirectory!
- This ZOO will extract to about 128,000 bytes...consider this if you
- extract the files to your WorkBench FONTS: subdirectory!
-
- These fonts were created by Adobe as Macintosh screen fonts for use with
- their PostScript laser printer fonts. I've converted them with
- MacFontConvert and cleaned things up a bit with Calligrapher. It is an
- entire font family of the typestyle Adobe calls Avant Garde. Avant Garde
- is a san-serif font and this collection comes in 11, 13, 15, 19 and 24
- scan line versions. A plain, bold, italic and bold-italic version of each
- size is included. If your application allows internal style changes, you
- can make a "double-bold", "double-italic" and "double-bold-italic" style!
- The font names have been shortened to 11 characters or less, due to the
- way AmigaDOS handles fontnames.
-
- This font collection created by Mike Hooper for the *StarShip* Amiga on
- GEnie and the Grafix ConneXtion BBS (304-768-9360). The original Adobe
- font was obtained from a copyrighted and freely distributed file.
