  5.    This demo has been provided so you may evaluate CoPilot at your lesiure.
  6. You are not obligated to register  for using this demo program.  But if you
  7. like  the  features  CoPilot  has to  offer,  and wish  a  fully functional
  8. version, you will have to register in order to receive it.

  21.                          DISTRIBUTION LIMITATIONS
  22.                         --------------------------
  23.    Anyone may distribute the demo version of CoPilot provided that any fees
  24. received are  reasonable  and limited  to  the costs  directly  releated to
  25. media,  shipping  and   handling.  Distribution   is  prohibited   for  any
  26. distribution scheme that  charges variable  rates according to the contents
  27. of each disk.

  30.                          DEMO PROGRAM LIMITATIONS
  31.                         --------------------------
  32.    This release of the CoPilot demo squashes a few bugs that were present in
  33. the first version. The manual for the registered version of CoPilot is now
  34. included, but some of the features discussed are not available in the demo
  35. and are listed as follows. The numbers below correspond to sections in the
  36. manual.

  39. 2.4.     The demo only looks in the directory SYS:s for the "CoPilot.macros"
  40.          file. The demo does not use the logical directory COPILOT: either.
  41.  
  42. 6.       After using the hotkeys 30 times they will be disabled. In order to
  43.          re-activate them you'll have to open the Settings window with your
  44.          mouse and then turn them back on again.
  45.  
  46. 7.3      The current directory of the AmigaDOS CLI has no effect on the new
  47.          CLI.
  48.  
  49. 7.5.7    The only screen editor the demo will use is C:Ed. You cannot assign
  50.          a different screen editor.
  51.  
  52. 7.5.10   You can only load or save string macros assigned to the keys <0>
  53.          through <9> and only for the <CTRL><ALT> qualifier. No recorded
  54.          macros will be loaded or saved. No file requester will be displayed
  55.          because the only pathname the demo uses is "SYS:s/CoPilot.macros".
  56.          All the currently defined macros are removed when loading macros
  57.          instead of replacing just the macros that have new definitions.

  59. 7.5.11   The LoadMacros program is not included, nor will it work if you
  60.          try to use it.

  62. 7.6.9    The editor pathname gadget is not included.

  67.    In order to receive a registered copy of the latest version of CoPilot,
  68. fill out the registration form located at the end of this documentation and
  69. enclose a check or money order for US $25.00, (US $30.00 outside the U.S.

  77.    I also plan to install  a BBS in mid-spring 1988.  Registered users will
  78. be able to receive updates through the BBS or by sending back your original
  79. disk with SASE envelope. Enclose a check or money order for US $5.00 if you
  80. do not include a disk.
