- The picture file(s) contained in this ARC file, was captured with the new

- FEBRUARY 1988. The individual picture files were then processed through
- IMPULSE'S 3D Animation package, SILVER.

-
- *** Features of the Impulse Video Digitizer/Frame Grabber ***
- -----------------------------------------------------
-
- ** Connects to ANY Amiga computer via the parallel port.
-
- ** Any NTSC video source, Camera, Broadcast, or VCR can be
- digitized in full color into the Amiga in either 200 line HAM mode
- or 400 Line HAM mode, or Black & White.
-
- ** Either full frames or single fields may be grabbed (freeze frame)
- for digitizing.
-
- ** As the Digitizer hardware is self contained, and not solely dependant
- on the Amiga as a host, maximum efficiency of Amiga resources
- including multi-tasking is maintained. As the memory needed for
- the video is contained within the digitizer, and not the Amiga,
- the unit can also be used as a stand alone frame grabber for any
- video source.
-
- ** Passes the Parallel port through the Digitizer eliminating
- the need for changing cables to use printers & sound digitizers.
-
- ** Pictures can be save in standard IFF/ILBM format, or in IFF/RGBN
- format. Using the RGBN 13 bitplane format allows total compatability
- with the Silver Ray Tracing/Animation system, and allows for
- upward compatability with future greater color/higher resolution
- video add ons for the Amiga 2000 line of computers.
-
- ** Included with the Impulse Video Digitizing System, is a sophisticated
- easy to use Software package that allows the user full control over
- the digitizing process including frame grabbing, and various controls
- for Hue, Brightness, Saturation, and Dithering.
-
- ** Also included with the Impulse Video Digitizing System is "DIAMOND",
- the new TOTAL Paint/Edit system. Diamond allows users to paint in ANY
- color mode available on the Amiga including HAM, and extra-halfbrite.
- Pictures can be created up to 1024X1024 pixels in size, including
- overscan in all resolutions. Full cut, copy and paste are supported
- as well as tinting, smoothing & shading. Genlock registers are also
- supported. Diamond also supports the Amiga font system including full
- compatability with ColorText fonts created by the Calligrapher.
-
- ** Diamond will load or save files in IFF/ILBM, IFF/RGBN, IFF/RGB4
- format allowing full compatability with other programs like Silver,
- PrismPlus, Digi-Paint & Deluxe Paint II. Using the IFF/RGBN format,
- the user can combine both hand drawn animation and Ray Traced graphics
- in the same frame of a Silver Animation or Still file.
-
