"Only Amiga" by Charles Bejarano (BAY-HAH-RAW-NO)

Well, I hope you all like this one. I cranked it out quick so you wouldn't
think that I became a frustrated artist and went off to live in a remote cave
somewhere in Arizona.
I finally decided to something that paid tribute to the Amiga. It may even
look somewhat like an advertisement. In fact, if you happen to be an Amiga
dealer, feel free to pop this up on the monitor for your customers. (Unless, of
course, you don't like it.)
If it seems like all of my artwork has things coming out of the frame, well,
that's because all of my artwork has things coming out of the frame. This may
change in the future due to the unpredictable moods of frustrated artists.
You see...I went to a local mall one day when they were having a showing of
works by local artists. One particular artist who worked in acrylics used a
similar technique. She would mount the canvas onto the frame before painting
and extend the (usually foreground) images out onto the frame. This created a
nice dimensional effect beyond that which the artist implies with perspective
and shading. Well, I obviously liked what I saw thus the look of my Amy art.
We also use this technique heavily in television news (I'm a News Photographer
for the local ABC affiliate) in the graphics seen floating next to the Anchors
head. It gives a nice 3-D effect to an otherwise very 2 dimensional medium.
Sorry about the long README file this time.
Feel free to contact me about my artwork at the address below.
