Runes Font:
The RUNE font included herein is the authentic Anglo-saxon runes
used before Christianity came to Great Britain. There are 31 runic
characters in this font, and in most cases they are associated
with the alphanumeric character they most closely approximate.
Several are associated with characters that were merely convenient
as no single simple english equivalent exists. I did not include
them in the usual futhorc order to facilitate transliteration of
names and the like.
The characters are located on the following keys:F,U,p,O,R,C,G,W,H,N,
I,J,Z,P,X,S,T,B,E,M,L,n,D,o,A,a,Y,e,g,K,k. This list is in
futhorc order.
Installation: Execute the executeme file. Put the runes directory and the
runes.font file in the fonts directory.
CAUTION: Runes have mystical and strange powers. Certain combinations
represent words of power. It is not wise to play around with
random combinations of runes as the results of inadvertent
supernatural combinations is unpredictable. The accidental
summoning of otherworld forces has occurred and is very hazardous.
BE WARNED.
