- If you already own Prowrite 1.0, you already have these fonts and you've
- just wasted your time downloading them!
-
- These are the three new fonts from the ProWrite 1.0 disk, which New
- Horizons has said may be freely distributed (the fonts, not the disk!!).
- To use these fonts, you need to make three new directories inside
- your FONT directory.
- Make a directory called GRANITE, put GRANITE-15 in it and rename it 15
- Make a directory called MARBLE, put MARBLE-15 in it and rename it 15
- Make a directory called SERPINTINE, put SERP-15 in it and rename it 15
- In your FONT directory itself, put MARBLE.FONT, GRANITE.FONT &
- SERP.FONT and rename SERP.FONT to SERPENTINE.FONT
-
- (Using a directory management program such as one of the 10 million
- Dirutils or CLImate or Zing will make all this easier).
-
- These fonts are very similar if not exactly like three normal Macintosh
- fonts (um....New York, Geneva, and the other one whose name escapes me).
- They look GREAT when used with Prowrite, Pagesetter, Dpaint, etc.
- Use Granite as your CLI font and you have the Macintosh you've always
- dreamt of (grin).
