- Amortize.inf must be renamed to Amortize.info
-
- Amortize is a simple Amiga Basic program, which calculates and displays a
- schedule of payments for a typical loan situation.
-
- Amortize allows you to display the schedule on your monitor or send the data
- to a printer for hard copy records. You can also store the schedule in an
- ASCII text file by selecting the SAVE option.
-
- Amortize should be relatively bug-free, has pull-down menus for your options
- and is very easy to use. The program prompts you for information it requires
- and it does the rest. Select your output options before answering "YES" to
- the ready-to-print prompt or the program goes into a default (print to
- screen, no save) mode.
-
- You can quit at any time by selecting the "QUIT" menu option, typing CTRL C
- or clicking on the close gadget in the upper left corner of the screen.
-
- The printout is set for a parallel 80 column printer. The program sends
- pure ASCII, so most printers should work. Data is routed through the PAR:
- (thanks DJJAMES) device and the only oddball characters sent are an escape
- sequence for Star printers ('cause that's what I've got) to tell the
- printer to automatically do a formfeed at the end of a page (SOP) and
- chr$(12) formfeed characters.
-
- Hope you like it, if there are any problems, let me know.
