Dear D/L'er,
This archive contains mCAD version 1.2.5 and all of its little
tributary files, sample drawings, parts, and documentation. The only
thing not included here is the source code.
This stuff is shareware (as you'll hear again in mCAD.doc.)
You may distribute this archive freely if this notice is retained, but you
may not charge more than a nominal copying/hassle fee for doing it.

CONTENTS:
mCAD The executable
mCAD.rgb The color map. This file exists outside of mCAD
because everybody likes their own thing. mCAD
will write a new file with your preferred colors
if you tell it to.
mCAD.txt The text font mCAD uses to draw letters. Not
easy to modify, but external for that purpose.
mCAD.prtdef The printer definition file mCAD uses when you
ask for a screen dump (to a dot-matrix printer.)
This is just a renamed copy of one of the files
in the archive PrtDef.arc below.
mCAD.doc Documentation
OptoDac.cad Sample drawing
Stage.cad Sample drawing
Parts.arc An archive of parts you can select from as you use
mCAD.
PrtDef.arc An archive of printer definition files.
TO SET UP AN mCAD DISK:
mCAD, mCAD.rgb, mCAD.txt, and mCAD.prtdef should all be in the
same directory. This should be your default directory when you use mCAD.
Make a subdirectory called parts. UnARC the file Parts.arc into
that directory. Make a subdirectory called PrtDef and UnARC the file
PrtDef.arc into it.
ABOUT PRINTERS:
This version doesn't support color printers or printers with
more than eight addressable print pins because I don't know anything
about these kinds of printers. If you want me to support your favorite
printer, send me some information.
