- Here are ?28 fonts for your pleasure and enjoyment (spare me!)
-
- The are fonts from my OLD Atari 800. They are all 8 by 8 pixel sets.
- A few of them have charaters missing and many of them do not have lower case.
- Most of them were made for an Atari 800 mode that is screen of 20x24
- characters of text. I'm working on converting some of the public domain
- Macintosh fonts. Those should be much better.
-
- first type
-
- execute execute_me
-
- then to use the fonts type
-
- assign fonts: silly_fonts
- or
- assign fonts: misc_fonts
- or
- assign fonts: future_fonts
- or
- assign fonts: old_fonts
- depending on which set of fonts you which to use. After you have done this
- you make run the notepad to use the fonts. They look better in lo-res.
-
- To use the fonts from Deluxe_Paint, first boot the Deluxe_Paint disk then
- type
-
- WorkBench:c/assign fonts: DiskName:path/future_fonts
-
- Replace 'DiskName:path' with the name of the disk the fonts are on and the
- path to them. Follow the prompt for inserting disks. When to '1>' prompt
- finally appears. Insert your DPaint disk and type
-
- dpaint
-
- Once you are in Dpaint pick 'Load Fonts' from the fonts menu.
-
- The file 'fonts.pic' is an IFF picture of all the fonts. You may view it
- from DPaint...
-
- Good luck!!
