  10. INSTALLATION
  11.  
  12. To install the Citizen Printer Driver, follow the instructions in Chapter 5
  13. of the Windows User's Guide for "Installing a Printer Driver Not Supplied by
  14. Windows".  The OEMSETUP.INF file will assure that the files are installed in
  15. the proper subdirectories on your hard disk.  Once this is done, use the
  16. Configure and Setup buttons to start the driver's Main Dialog box.

  18. The following options must be set prior to printing:

  20.      Printer Type                       (Options Dialog Box)
  21.      Paper Feeder Type                  (Options Dialog Box)
  22.      Color or Monochrome Ribbon         (Main Dialog Box)
  23.      Paper Format                       (Main Dialog Box)

  25. The driver has many additional features that may need to be set:

  27.      Portrait or Landscape Page         (Main Dialog Box)
  28.      Letter or Draft Print Quality      (Main Dialog Box)
  29.      Resolution                         (Main Dialog Box)
  30.      Print Margins                      (Main Dialog Box)
  31.      Variable Top Of Form               (Main Dialog Box)
  32.      Fonts                              (Fonts Dialog Box)

  34. To learn how to properly configure the driver to take maximum advantage of
  35. Windows 3.0 and your Citizen Printer, click on the "Help" button.

  37. SELECTING YOUR PRINTER
  38.  
  39.   1. Enter the Options Dialog Box by clicking on the "Options" button.
  40.   2. To see the list of printers, click on the down arrow next to the
  41.      "Printer Type" list box.
  42.   3. Click on the up and down arrows until your printer type is displayed. 
  43.      Click on your printer model.
  44.   4. If you do not see your printer in the list, click on the "Help" button
  45.      for more information.
  46.   5. Click on the "Ok" button to return to the Main Dialog Box.

  48. HELP

  50. The Citizen Printer Driver contains an extensive HELP file.  Since the HELP
  51. file is accessed with the Windows 3.0 HELP system, you can use the many HELP
  52. features described in Chapter 2 of the Windows User's Guide.

  54. To use HELP, click on the HELP button from any of the Dialog Boxes.
