  1. ATTENTION:  Do NOT use the Updater application shipped with To Do! 1.0!  Simply place the new To Do! File in your System folder, replacing the old one.  This WILL cause you to lose any things to do you have already entered, so you may wish to print them out/jot them down so you can type them back it.  Using the Updater application will really screw things up.  My fault, sorry!
