It's original purpose was to convert Rolodex format files to tabular format, and back. It also turns carriage returns into spaces, tabs or nothings. Similarly for tabs. Finally, it turns dumb quotes (' and ") into smart (typographer's) quotes (",",' and '), and vice versa When activated, RoloEdit looks at the ClipBoard for TEXT data. It displays a message indicating how many characters of TEXT were found. RoloEdit may be used to modify the TEXT in the ClipBoard which may then be "Pasted" into a document.
