  3.    A 'YOU TELL ME' STUDY

  5.    THE POSITION The position of 'once saved-always saved' is that once
  6. an individual has truly asked Jesus into their heart that it is
  7. impossible for them to fall from grace and burn in hell. The question
  8. is: Does Jesus tell us this is the case when someone accepts Him as
  9. Lord?

  11.    LUKE 8:13 1. What does Jesus say happens to those who 'believe' in
  12. Him?

  14.    LUKE 12:42-46 2. Where will the believer be 'assigned' a place?
  15.  
  16.    MATTHEW 18:26-35 3. Did this fellow fall on 'his knees' and ask for
  17. forgiveness, [i.e. altar call]?
  18.  
  19.    4. Did this same fellow lose his forgiveness? In short, was his debt
  20. of sin reinstated?
  21.  
  22.    5. In verse :33, had this servant at one time received 'mercy'?
  23.  
  24.    MATTHEW 25:1-12 6. Were all 10 pure 'virgins' waiting for the groom,
  25. Jesus, to come?
  26.  
  27.    7. Did all of them have the Holy Spirit; 'oil'?
  28.  
  29.    8. On the day of the wedding was the door to eternal life opened for
  30. them? Why not?

  32.    JOHN 15:1-2 9. What will happen to you if you are 'in me' (Jesus)
  33. and bear no fruit?
  34.  
  35.    10. If one is 'cut off' from Jesus, is he/she cut off from grace?

  37.    HEBREWS 6:4-6 11. Is it possible to 'taste the heavenly gift'; to
  38. 'share in the Holy Spirit'; to 'be enlightened'; to 'taste the goodness
  39. of the 'Word of God' and the 'powers of the coming age' and then to
  40. 'fall away'? See vs: 6

  42.    12. What is 'IMPOSSIBLE ? [Verse: 4] HEBREWS 2:1 13. Is it possible
  43. to 'drift away' from Jesus? HEBREWS 3:14 14. What must you do if you
  44. are going to be found in Jesus at the end?

  46.    HEBREWS 10:36-39 15. We need to do what in order to receive the
  47. 'Promise'?

  49.    16. Verse :39 tells us what happens to those who 'shrink back' from
  50. their faith in Jesus. What happens to them?

  52.    GALATIANS 5:4 17. What have they 'fallen away' from?

  54.    18. Who are they 'alienated' from?

  56.    2 PETER 1:10 19. If we do not do what Peter is telling us to do,
  57. what will be the outcome?

  59.    2 PETER 3:17 20. Peter ends this letter by warning us 'not to be
  60. carried away by the error of lawless men', so that what will not happen
  61. to us?

  63.    JUDE :12 21. How many times have they died?

  65.    22. How can a man be 'twice dead' in this world unless he has been
  66. born again?

  68.    EZEKIEL 33:12-16 23. What is the message that all men and women of
  69. God should be declaring?

  71.    [Please read verse: 17, while you check your attitude toward
  72. conditional salvation.]

  74.    SALVATION BY WORKS
  75.  
  76.    Many complain that this is making salvation a 'works program', or
  77. salvation by works. What they should really be asking is, 'Do I ever
  78. earn salvation?'. Of course no one earns salvation. However, faith
  79. without works will not save you. Read JAMES 2:14 & 24.

  81.    DO NOT FEAR

  83.    Do not fear to lay at the cross your "once saved-always saved"
  84. doctrine. The Truth of the Lord always leads to freedom and joy by the
  85. power of the Holy Spirit.

  87.    If you will give yourself fully to God each day He will fulfill Jude
  88. :24 in your life. 'To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to
  89. present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great
  90. joy - to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and
  91. authority...'

  93.    However, be warned by the Holy Spirit that to persist in teaching or
  94. living a once-saved- always saved doctrine is to become a 'worthless
  95. shepherd', see Ezekiel 13:1-16.

  100. saved-always saved is a 'whitewashing', sinful teaching. If you would
