  3. Some Day I Shall Hug A Lion!

  6. Someday I shall hug a lion! Would you like to be able to do this too? There is
  7. a place where boys and girls can hug fearful lions and other animals without
  8. being hurt. This place is HEAVEN. The Bible (God's Word) says there will be no
  9. tears, hunger, pain, crying, sorrow, death or darkness. Wouldn't you like to
  10. go to such a wonderful place someday?

  12. Heaven is a perfect place; no sin can enter. Each of us has lied, taken
  13. something that belonged to others or cheated on tests at school. God says this
  14. is SIN, and sin must be punished by death. "For all have sinned" and "the
  15. wages of sin is death." (Romans 3:23; 6:23)

  17. Don't be sad, I have GOOD NEWS for you !

  19. "For God so loved the world (you and me), that He gave His only begotten Son
  20. (the Lord Jesus), that whosoever (put your name) _________________ believeth
  21. in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (life in heaven forever)."
  22. (John 3:16)

  24. Although God hates our sins, He loves us very much and wants to save us from
  25. our sins. God gave His Son, (the Lord Jesus) to DIE on the cross to pay for
  26. everything we have done wrong. The Lord Jesus died to take your punishment and
  27. mine like our sister or brother might take whippings that we deserve so that
  28. we would not have to be punished.

  30. God will forgive your sins and give you everlasting life as a FREE GIFT, IF
  31. YOU BELIEVE JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS AND RECEIVE HIM AS YOUR VERY OWN SAVIOUR.
  32. "But as many as received Him (the Lord Jesus), to them gave He the power to
  33. become the sons of God." (John 1:12)

  35. You cannot have God's gift of everlasting life by being good because you can
  36. never be good enough. Do you remember your last birthday? Did you pay for your
  37. gift? Of course not! Real gifts are free. "For by grace are ye saved through
  38. faith (believe Jesus died for you), and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT
  39. of God." (Ephesians 2:8)

  41. God wants to GIVE you everlasting life. How pleased God will be to see you in
  42. heaven! Will you say to God silently "Dear Lord Jesus, I know I have done
  43. wrong, but I believe you died for my sins; and I receive you as my own
  44. Saviour." Then, you too can KNOW you will go to Heaven. "These things have I
  45. written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God (the Lord Jesus
  46. Christ), that ye may KNOW ye have eternal life." (I John 5:13)

  48. Are you sure that you will go to Heaven? If you are, I want you to keep on
  49. reading. Suppose you sin after you receive the Lord Jesus, will you ever lose
  50. your everlasting life? No! Why? Because Jesus died for all your sins and
  51. everlasting life is forever and ever.

  53. I want you to remember whenever you have done something wrong, to tell the
  54. Lord Jesus about it, and He will forgive you. You are His child now and He
  55. will take care of you. He wants you to pray (talk to Him), to read the Bible,
  56. and to tell others about His good news.
