  2.                JESUS IS LORD

  4. "We are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth,
  5. `Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised
  6. him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your
  7. heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with
  8. your mouth that you confess and are saved.  As the
  9. Scripture says, `Everyone who trusts in him will never be
  10. put to shame'." (Romans 10:8-11 NIV)

  12.      Many Christians have divided their lives into a
  13. religious area, of which Jesus is Lord, and all other
  14. "secular" areas: work, hobbies, sports, family, etc., in
  15. which they act like other folks.

  17.      The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is Lord over EVERY
  18. area of life, and that EVERYTHING which is not SIN is
  19. SPIRITUAL under God.
  20.  
  21.      Every legitimate activity can and must be done in the
  22. name of the Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God and in
  23. the power of the Holy Spirit.  This includes preaching,
  24. cleaning carburetors, preparing legal briefs, washing
  25. dishes or changing diapers.  We need to develop a view of
  26. every area of life and the world that says, "Jesus Christ
  27. is Lord of ALL!"
