  2.           IF YOU ARE SEEKING FULFILLMENT...

  4.      Do you feel empty?  Have you tried to fill that
  5. "hollowness" with religious activity, wealth or power;
  6. or have you tried to dull yourself with chemicals or sex?
  7.  
  8.      The French physicist and philosopher Pascal said,
  9. "There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man
  10. which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by
  11. God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ."
  12.  
  13.      No power or possession or pleasure can satisfy the
  14. need we have had designed into us:  the human person was
  15. created to be the dwelling place and intimate friend of
  16. Deity.
  17.  
  18.      Paul the apostle wrote to the Christian believers in
  19. the neighborhood of Colossae,
  20.      "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in
  21. bodily form, and you have been given this fullness in
  22. Christ, who is the head over every power and authority."
  23. (Colossians 2:9-10 NIV)

  25.      Christ Jesus will fill that void in you, if you will
  26. put your faith in Him.

  28.      Get a Bible in a good modern version--such as the New
  29. American Standard, New International Version, or New King
  30. James--and ask God to SHOW you whether or not this is the
  31. truth, and what it means.  Start with the Gospel of John,
  32. then go back and read straight through the New Testament.

  34.      But you don't have to wait.  Talk to the Lord Jesus
  35. right now.  Tell Him that you give yourself to Him and you
  36. are asking Him to fill you with Himself, cleansing,
  37. re-creating, full-filling.
