  2.           "SIN LICENSE"

  4.      "Forgiveness full and free!  Does that mean I can
  5. accept Christ and do anything I want to do?"  OF COURSE
  6. NOT!
  7.  
  8.      The apostle Paul answers this question in the
  9. strongest language in chapters 3 and 6 of his letter to the
  10. Romans.  The gospel is the message of forgiveness from the
  11. penalty of sin and also freedom from its power over our
  12. lives.  Paul exhorted,
  13.  
  14.      "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are
  15. not under law, but under grace.  What then?  Shall we sin
  16. because we are not under law but under grace?  Certainly
  17. not!" (Romans 6:14-15 NKJ)

  19.      Christians should memorize Romans 6 as thoroughly as
  20. their telephone numbers, and in faith "reckon" it, or
  21. visualize it as true, in their own lives.

  23.      God hates sin.  If we could realize how much, it would
  24. affect our lives:  God hates sin so much that He killed His
  25. own beloved only-begotten Son as the atoning sacrifice for
  26. sin for all time.

  28.      The blood of Christ atones for the guilt of sin.  The
  29. cross of Christ, as explained in Romans 6, sets the
  30. believer free from the dominion of sin, and enables the
  31. believer to share in His Resurrection life and victory.
  32. The incredibly expensive grace of God is offered freely to
  33. set the believer free from sin's penalty and its power.
  34.  
  35.      To suggest that God is offering a free license to sin
  36. is simply stupid.  God calls you to repentance from the sin
  37. that He hates, and which cost Him His Son.  Read the
  38. letters of Paul to the Galatians and the Romans for
  39. yourself, and see if we are reporting accurately what the
  40. Scriptures say.

  42.      Put your trust in Jesus, and let Him set you free.  Do
  43. it NOW.
