  2.           "I'M NOT SO BAD"

  4.      Some people resent being told that they are "sinners."
  5. Often people will react to a personal presentation of the
  6. gospel by saying, "I'm not so bad!"
  7.  
  8.      The book of Proverbs says, "Every way of a man is
  9. right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts."
  10. (Proverbs 21:2 NKJ)
  11.  
  12.      Most people simply adopt the value-system in which
  13. they grew up, either unconsciously or deliberately, without
  14. ever questioning whether or not it is RIGHT.  Even for
  15. those few who determine to work out their own solitary
  16. path, they seldom seek for an objective standard to measure
  17. their ambitions or achievements.
  18.  
  19.      The true and living God has revealed Himself in the
  20. Scriptures and in His Son, Jesus the Messiah of Israel, who
  21. was crucified for sinners, raised victorious over death,
  22. and lives today to face you with the truth.
  23.  
  24.      We urge you to read for yourself the New Testament
  25. books of John, Galatians and Romans.  Many could do this in
  26. 4 hours or less.  These sections of Scripture explain that
  27. no one except the Lord Jesus Christ Himself has ever had a
  28. "record" acceptable to God.  Everybody else from Adam and
  29. Eve down to you has needed a Savior, and the Lord Jesus is
  30. the only one who can save.

  32.      Read especially John 5, Romans 3 & 5, Galatians 2 & 3.
  33. God's standard is perfection, judged against His own laws
  34. which He has revealed in Scripture.  Jesus Christ will be
  35. the Judge on Judgment Day, since He is both the Son of Man
  36. and God the Son.  God offers free and complete forgiveness
  37. to all those who repent of their sins and come in faith to
  38. the Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord.

  40.      On Judgment Day, you will not be judged by your own
  41. standards, but by God's.
  42.  
  43.      We pray that before that Day comes, you will have
  44. already "settled out of court" with the Judge, Jesus
  45. Christ, as your Lord (Boss) and Savior.
  46.      Do it right now: Put your trust in Jesus.
