                         GOD AND BEING GAY

"`Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman;
that is detestable. "`Do not have sexual relations with an animal
and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to
an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

"`Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is
how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became
defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin,
and the land vomited out its inhabitants. (Leviticus 18:22-25)

God views homosexual acts right next to having sex with an animal
- something even some homosexuals would say is wrong. Yet a man
having sex with a sheep, (that is where VD came from) is the same
as a man having sex with another man, or a woman with another
woman.

Sometimes being homosexual is a sign that God is more
ashamed of you than everyone else. For there is a sin that is
worse than other sins. That sin is a sexual perversion called
"being gay". Because of your hard heart God has turned you over
to something very shameful and wicked. God says that since
certain individuals refuse to worship him he turns them over to
"shameful lusts" - lust whereby a man will want to have sex with
another man and women with another women. Homosexuality is a
symptom of a depraved spiritual condition. It is a sign of a
self-centered heart. Homosexuals are so self-absorbed and selfish
that they cannot see the need to worship and love the True God.

Therefore God lets them go into their sin so that they might see
just how wicked and dirty their hearts and souls are. It is a
tough truth for a homosexual to admit, but it is truth. Just
listen to what God says about this issue of your heart.

For since the creation of the world God's invisible
qualities"his eternal power and divine nature"have been clearly
seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are
without excuse.

For although they knew God, they neither
glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking
became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although
they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the
glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man
and birds and animals and reptiles.

Therefore God gave them over in the
sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the
degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the
truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things
rather than the Creator"who is forever praised. Amen. Because of
this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.

Even their women
exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way
the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were
inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts
with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for
their perversion.

Furthermore, since they did not think it
worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a
depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become
filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.

They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They
are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and
boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their
parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such
things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very
things but also approve of those who practice them.  (Romans
1:20-32)

The reason someone is gay is that they are more selfish than
others. No one is gay because they are born that way or were
taught to be so. Any good scientist will tell you that they do
not know what makes a person gay. Again, being gay is a result of
sin. And that is good news. For now that we know what the cause
is we know where to find the cure. The cure is not in a sex
change operation or passing laws to protect the rights of gays.

The cure, for those who want it, is to confess it as sin and let
God change them. And change they can! God is able to deliver and
change anyone who comes to him and humbly asks for forgiveness.
Of course many do not want to change. For those who do not want
to change there is no hope. They will become more and more
deprived and will wind up going to hell. In fact, we see this
increase in perversion taking place. As Romans says, they "also
approve of those who practice them". Indeed, we now see a whole
"church", the MCC church, devoted to justifying this "indecent
act".

The MCC church is devoted to approving of those who
"practice" the sexual acts of homosexuality. It is amazing to
watch the MCC church and gays fulfill Romans as they seek to
justify this sin. For in the twisting of the passage in Romans
they are fulfilling what Romans said they would do.

They exchanged the truth of God for a
lie...(Romans 1:25)

Now, this is a tract devoted to gays with love. This tract is not
a result of a "homophobic" teacher. This is not some "hate crime"
pamphlet.

I am sure it would be comfortable for a homosexual to
write this off as such. For then they would not be responsible to
change. Our concern is not that homosexuals are gaining rights in
society but the everlasting fact that gays will have no right to
go to heaven.

Ours is a great love and concern. For we do not
want any homosexual to go to hell. And to the "straight" church
it must be told that it is not loving for you to allow someone
who claims to be a Christian who commits homosexual perversion to
remain in the church. In fact, if anyone who is homosexual is in
your church or neighborhood and will not repent you are not
allowed to eat lunch with them.

But now I am writing you that you must not associate
with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral
or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler.
With such a man do not even eat.  (I Corinthians 5:11)

Again, the truth in all of this is written with the greatest of
love. After all, were it not for the grace of God everyone of us
could be "turned over" to become gay! For those of you who do
want to change there is a way out. For those of you who are
determined to "hate God" and be punished there is no need to read
further. Whatever the case, make no mistake about it, this sin is
more serious than others.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man
commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins
against his own body. (I Corinthians 6:18)

Notice that "all other sins" are "outside" a man's or woman's
body. But sexual sin will receive a harder punishment because it
sins directly against the body God has given each individual.
That is, God gave you a body and you will have to give an account
to God on how you used that body. The punishment must be great
for God to warn in such a clear and unmistakable way. The
punishment is so terrible that God destroyed a town before its
time with fire just to show you what will happen to you if you
don't repent.

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the
surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and
perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the
punishment of eternal fire.  (Jude 1:7)

It is very clear what the sin and perversion of Sodom and
Gomorrah was.

Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every
part of the city of Sodom"both young and old"surrounded the
house. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you
tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and
said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. Look, I have
two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them
out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do
anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of
my roof."

"Get out of our way," they replied. And they said,
"This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the
judge! We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing
pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
(Genesis 19:4-9)

Notice two things. One, the men from "every part of the city"
came to have sex with these men. And, two, they didn't like the
judgemental spirit that these men, who were really angels, came
with. Verse 9 says, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now
he wants to play the judge!". This is exactly what homosexuals
cannot stand - someone saying that what they do is wrong. You
see, the concern is not really for equal rights. Homosexuals want
others to say that what they do is okay. This is the Jesus whom
the MCC church and other religious homosexuals have violated and
thrown out. It is a Jesus who comes to judge and to say that what
they do is wrong. They are not interested in the love of Jesus
that calls them to repentance. However, there are two cities of
homosexuals you should consider. You need to ask if you are
homosexual that lives in Sodom or Gomorrah. For Jesus says that
one city would still be here today if Jesus had walked in that
city preaching repentance.

And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the
skies? No, you will go down to the depths. If the miracles that
were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have
remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more
bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."
(Matthew 11:23-24)

Jesus says that "Sodom" would still be around today but he never
mentions Gomorrah. That is, Sodom would have said, "Yes Jesus, I
am a sinner and very wicked! Will you forgive and change me?" So
it is not Christians nor homophobics that are causing you
problems. It is the city you live in. If you live in Gomorrah you
will be burning in hell for all eternity. But if you are a
homosexual that lives in Sodom you will be changed and have true
love and fellowship with Jesus in heaven. Which city do you live
in? If you decide to keep committing homosexual perversion at
least be honest enough to say you are willing to go to hell for
it - that you are willing to take whatever punishment God has in
mind. Just don't be deceived into thinking you can be gay and go
to heaven. For no matter how "loving" and "kind" you are as a gay
you will not go to heaven.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the
kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral
nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual
offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers
nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what
some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you
were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the
Spirit of our God.  (I Corinthians 6:9-11)

Again, notice the good news. It says in verse 11, "And that is
what some of you were". You can be delivered from this sin if you
want to. Do you want to be delivered? If so please contact us.
God has an abundant life of joy waiting for you! It is up to you
whether you want to keep a self-centered soul or become a person
who has a genuine love for others that comes from the God of
love.

You might think it is impossible but those of us who are
honestly lovers of God know the sins He has delivered us from. We
can testify to you that God has delivered us from lust,
self-centeredness and wickedness. And though the Christian life
is narrow and humbling it is a grand experience - that is, for
those who want to learn to love God. For others who love their
perversion they will hate this tract and accuse us of hating
them. But the truth is that the problem lies with them. They hate
God.
