  1. INS:You are Special!

  3.    Psalm 139:13-18
  4.  
  5.    I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Ps.139:14

  7.    Have you ever sat in a large air terminal and observed the steady
  8. flow of people coming and going? It's an interesting study in variety,
  9. for human beings come in all sizes and descriptions. They differ not
  10. only in their physical characteristics but also in their mental and
  11. emotional traits. The Creator chose a special pattern for every person
  12. and used it only once.
  13.  
  14.    Several years ago a friend drove me around Flint, Michigan, to show
  15. me the vast industrial complex that has made the city famous for its
  16. production of automobiles. As we rode by one factory, I noticed a
  17. fenced in area with hundreds of pieces of equipment standing out in the
  18. open. They were the dies for various models of cars, and they would be
  19. kept for 10 years.

  21.    In God's economy there is no such field. No duplicates, no
  22. replacements and no re-runs ever appear in the human race. Every man,
  23. woman and child is a special expression of His creative handiwork. The
  24. psalmist said, "I am fear fully and wonderfully made." This
  25. distinctiveness assures us that the Lord wanted each of us to be
  26. unique. We don't have to envy others. We can accept ourselves as we are
  27. because God has created us in His image with specific qualities all our
  28. own.

  30.    Feelings of inadequacy come to all of us, but the Lord never
  31. intended that we struggle through life with a burden of inferiority.
  32. Thank Him that you are one of a kind; then serve Him as only YOU can.
