WAR:Chuck the man who Swindols you!

   CHUCH SWINDOL'S 1,000,000.00 DOLLAR 2ND HOME AND THE WORD OF GOD.

   ========> OPEN LETTER TO CHRISTIANITY TODAY

   To Christianity Today,

   Your interview with Charles Swindoll certainly calls for a new fight
against "whitewash" (Ezekiel 13)!  What utter and complete "whitewash"
that interview was. Only the "unstable" will buy it.

   II Peter 2:13-15

   They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done.

   Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are
blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they
feast with you.  With eyes full of adultery,
they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable;
they are experts in greed--an accursed brood!

   They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow  the way
of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness."

   The issue of course is not really a second house that cost close to
a million dollars.  The issue is the cross and God's will. Of "hating"
and "despising" money.

   Philippians 3:17-19'

Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of
those who live according to the pattern we gave you.  For, as I have
often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as
enemies of the cross of Christ.  Their destiny is destruction, their god
is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on
earthly things.

   If Mr.  Swindoll is a man of God then the most he can boast in is
his "low" position in Jesus. And not in being a teacher of the Lord.

   James 1:9-10

   The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high
position.  But the one who is rich should take pride in his low
position, because he will pass away like a wild flower.

   Oh my, how he was so "falsely persecuted".  Let us remember well
that for persecution to be of God it must be false accusations and not
the truth that we are pleasing self instead of Jesus Christ!

   Should we feel sorry for a man who claims the world greatly
exaggerated the value of his home when he doesn't even worry about the
cost.  He simple says, "build for the final value will come out  when
it is done." Just like his Christianity, one doesn't even need to
"count the cost" before he builds (Luke 14:28-33).

   ====> A FEW OTHER SCRIPTURAL MATTERS

   SOMEONE ASKED FOR PROOF OF THIS SIN

   "Proof", I offer none except the Word of God.  Those who have "ears
to hear" will know the voice of the Spirit.  Those on the "narrow road"
are fully able to tell who is not.

   I John 4:4-6 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome
them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in
the world.  They are from the world and therefore speak from the
viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.  We are from
God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God
does not listen to us.  This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth
and the spirit of falsehood.

   If churches/Christians would begin to obey 1 Corinthians and judge
those inside the church they would understand how easily one can see
through the Swidolls of this world.

   I Corinthians 5:9-13 I have written you in my letter not to
associate with sexually immoral people-- not at all meaning the people
of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or
idolaters.  In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I
am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls
himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a
slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler.  With such a man do not even eat.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?  Are you
not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside.  "Expel the
wicked man from among you."

   Speaking of "fruit"...  the house is not really the issue. The house
only represents the fruit of pleasing self rather than God.  To say
that a man has given his tithes and so is able to buy a house (or
anything) shows that he clearly does not understand what it means to
pick a daily cross.  Those who pick up the cross strive to do nothing
but that which God shows them to do.  Are you saying that Jesus needed
Swidoll to buy a 2nd home for his own personal rest?  Come on...such
commits show little understanding of the power of God and the nature of
loosing ones life.  In fact it only demonstrates a man who opposes the
gospel of Jesus.

   Indeed, Jesus told us ahead of time that such men would come.

   Luke 6:24-26 "But woe to you who are rich, for you have already
received your comfort.  Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will
go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. Woe
to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers
treated the false prophets.

   Did Swidoll seek God on this?  No!  This was his personal self-will,
self-pleasing desire. And he seeks cover it up with "whitewash". Just
listen what Swidoll said in a follow-up article in this months
CHRISTIANITY TODAY.  (I will quote in part)

   =========> THE PRICE

   "THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER REPORTED THAT YOU ARE BUILDING A $2
MILLION HOME.  IS THAT CORRECT?

   The reporter stated a value on our house that was not only greatly
in excess of its cost but also greatly in excess of its value.
Actually, we do not yet know for sure what the house will cost because
we have not finished building it.  But it will be closer to  half the
amount stated in the original article."

   Oh, my, did I make a mistake.  The home (second home) will be worth
only $1,000,000.00.  Please forgive me!  It wouldn't matter if the
house was only worth $32,000.00...the sin is self will and direction.
A total disregard for the cross. One can be greedy over food stamps or
millions of dollars.  It takes the Holy Spirit to see it.  How many
naive people are going to go for this line of  whitewash and excuses?!
Lord deliver us! Why the poor man, he doesn't even know what it will
cost.  A simple test for all this,  *IS THIS FOR JESUS, OR FOR
HIMSELF*???!!!!!!!!!  Why it is for himself.

   II Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the
last days.  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money,
boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful,
unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,
brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of
pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but
denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

   SUMMARY=====>

    THE ISSUE IS NOT A $2,000,000.00 BUT THE FACT THAT THE CROSS THAT
CAUSES A MAN TO LOOSE HIS LIFE IS NOT THERE.  OH, THEY WILL "HAVE A
FORM OF GODLINESS" BUT REALLY BE "LOVERS OF MONEY" AND ONLY THOSE WHO
KNOW HOW TO "HATE" MONEY AND ARE ON THE NARROW ROAD WILL KNOW IT.  ON
COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT THE WORD IS CLEAR. READ THE ARTICLE AND YOU
WILL NOTICE THE SELF-WILL, THE REFUSAL TO WALK IN THE LIGHT AND THE
LOUSY WHITEWASH HE OFFERS.  THE ISSUE IS NOT A HOUSE OR FOOD
STAMPS...BUT THE CROSS IN A MAN'S LIFE!!!!!!

   As to the "facts" in this case, I did not get them from the secular
media...I got them from MOODY.

   TO MANY THE OUTSIDE OF THE CUP APPEARS CLEAN.

   Matthew 23:25-26 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you
hypocrites!  You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they
are full of greed and self-indulgence.  Blind Pharisee!  First clean
the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be
clean.

   Ephesians 5:5-11 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or
greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the
kingdom of Christ and of God.  Let no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are
disobedient.  Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once
darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.  Live as children of light
(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and
truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.  Have nothing to do with the
fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

   =====> HOW HE IS LIKE SO MANY!

   II Corinthians 2:17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God
for profit.  On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with
sincerity, like men sent from God.
