W. Patrick Donlin is the "Supreme Advocate" of the "Supreme Office"
of the Knights of Columbus, in New Haven, Connecticut. He, and his
friend Craig Fox of Easton, Pennsylvania, did not appreciate our
article "Rome's Bloody Oath as Taken in the 4th Degree of the Knights
of Columbus" (Nov. 1989, p. 6), for obvious reasons.
They have pointed out to us that this oath was first publicized back
in 1913, when the "Jesuit Oath of Secrecy" was incorrectIy attributed
to the Knights. The Catholics naturally claim that both oaths are
"bogus," "fabrications," and "vicious fraud."
We would welcome our readers to submit any documentation they may have
pertaining to this issue.
