  2.                  The Logic of Creation

  4. The Biblical account of creation is ridiculed by atheists,
  5. patronized by liberals, and often allegorized even by consevatives.
  6. The fact is, however, that it is God's own account of creation,
  7. corroborated by Jesus Christ (Mark 10:6-8, etc, who was there!
  8.  
  9. We are well advised to take it seriously and literally, for God
  10. is able to say what He means, and will someday hold us accountable
  11. for believing what He says! Furthermore, the account is reasonable
  12. and logical, fully in accord with all true science and history. The
  13. following chain of logic, while not compelling belief on the part
  14. of those who refuse to believe, at least demonstrates the reasonableness
  15. of Biblical Creation.

  17. It is axiomatic that there are only two possible basic models or
  18. origins --that is, of the origin of the universe, of the earth,
  19. of life, of human life, and of all the basic systems fo the cosmos.
  20. These are in simplist terms, evolution or creation. Either the origin
  21. of things can be understood in terms of continuing natural process,
  22. or they cannot--one or the other. If they cannot, then we must resort
  23. to completed supernatural process to explain the origin of at least the
  24. basic symtoms of the cosmos.

  26. Evolution and creation thus exhaust the possibilities, as far as origins
  27. are concerned.

  29. This necessarily means that if we can "falsefy" (that is, demonstrate
  30. to be false) either model of origins, then the other must be true.
  31. There is no other option. By definition, evolution should still be occurring
  32. now, since it is to be explained by present processes.

  34. PRESENT PROCESSES:

  36. If there is anything certain in this world, however, it is that there
  37. is no evidence whatever that evolution is ocurring today--that is,
  38. true vertical evolution, from some simpler kind to a more complex
  39. kind. No one has ever observed a star evolve from hydrogen, life
  40. evolve from chemicals, a higher species evolve from a lower species,
  41. a man from an ape, or anything else of this sort.

  43. Not only has no one ever
  44. observed true evolution, no one knows how evolution works, or even
  45. how it might work. Since no one has ever seen it happen (despite thousands
  46. of experiments that have tried to produce it), and no one yet has come
  47. up with a workable mechanism to explain it, it would seem that it has
  48. been falsified, at least as far as the present world is concerned.
  49. This does not prove it did not happen in the past, of course, but the
  50. evolutionist shouild recognize that this means it is not science, since it
  51. is not observable. EVOLUTION MUST BE ACCEPTED ON FAITH
