  3.    The most hyper-sensitive, narrow-minded, nervous, ecclesiastical
  4. bigots in the world outside of the news media journalists, are college
  5. students on the campuses of secular colleges. Herre we have from
  6. California (Evergreen College) a statement by the feature editor of
  7. their college newspaper, The Flyer:

  9.    "There will be no religious preaching or prayers in any public
  10. academic premises, according to a new law passed in California.
  11. Intolerance of others should not be invoked on this campus. This is a
  12. multi-cultural institution of academia. No one comes here to be
  13. insulted by some dimensional religious freaks. Racial differences
  14. already exist in the campus, must we tolerate the same teachings that
  15. were used in the Spanish Inquisition and the Nazi party and the ever
  16. present KKK in America? Street preachers should be allowed to speak
  17. here only after they have been through enough therapy to rid them of
  18. their prejudices, hostilities, and personal insecurities. Otherwise,
  19. their rantings and ravings should not be considered rational or
  20. credible in this atmosphere of scholarly endeavors."

  22.    There you have it. Who is the most intolerant bigot on the face of
  23. this earth? A broad-minded woman at a Liberal Arts college. You
  24. couldn't find a more narrow-minded, narrow-hided, isolated mentality in
  25. a nut house. These poor, deluded children think that Bible preaching is
  26. intolerance. You know why? Because they can't tolerate it. They
  27. actually think that the public teaching of scripture is an exhibition
  28. of "prejudices." Do you know why? Because they are prejudiced against
  29. the Book. They actually think that the preaching of the material found
  30. in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the Pauline epistles shows someone is
  31. personally insecure. They do not believe that the preaching of the New
  32. Testament is either "rational" or "credible" because they think they
  33. are scholarly. You never met a more deceived bunch of narrow-minded
  34. bigots in all your life.
