  3.    I met the strangest man on the way to church.
  4.  
  5.    He said he believed the Bible, but he never reads it.
  6.  
  7.    He said he thought well of the church of which he is a member, but
  8. he never attends.
  9.  
  10.    He said a man should be honest with God in money matters, but he
  11. never tithes.
  12.  
  13.    He said the younger generation needs the Lord, but he isn't leading
  14. them in that direction.
  15.  
  16.    He said the church needs dedicated Christian members, but he isn't
  17. one.
  18.  
  19.    He said the church should do more in ministering to people, but he
  20. doesn't help.
  21.  
  22.    He is critical of some of the workers, but he never works.
  23.  
  24.    He is critical of the way the church is "run" but he never
  25. participates.
  26.  
  27.    He says the Lord is surely coming, but he lives as though the Lord
  28. will never return.
  29.  
  30.    He says prayer will change things, but he never prays.
  31.  
  32.    HE WAS A STRANGE MAN, INDEED.
