- BIO:William Edward Biederwolf 1867-1939 American evangelist.

- Dr. William Biederwolf was converted to Christ at the age of 20.
- After extensive education in universities in France, Germany, and
- Princeton, he was ordained at 30 years of age. After three years in
- the pastorate and one year as an Army chaplain, he began a life of
- evangelistic work that lasted 35 years. He preached in America and
- around the world and established a leper home in Korea in 1920. In 1923,
- he established the Winona Lake Assembly for Conference Speakers. After
- his active work in evangelism, he devoted his remaining years to
- pastoring in Florida and also to writing. He was the author of many
- books, among which were the Millennium Bible, The Wonderful Christ,
- The Growing Christian, and The Whipping Post Theology.
