  4.                      "A New Year's Thought"

  6.     "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon 
  7.     the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, ans sware by Him 
  8.     that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and 
  9.     things that therin are, and the earth, and the things 
  10.     that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are 
  11.     therein, that there should be time no longer."
  12.                               Revelation 10:5-6

  14.     How easy it is to say, "Someday I am going to start 
  15.     living for God." or "Tomorrow I will witness to my 
  16.     neighbor." Most of us are guilty of putting things off, 
  17.     always, of course assuming that we will get around to it 
  18.     sooner or later. But the Bible tells us that one day we 
  19.     are going to run out of time.
  20.     
  21.     God has given each one of us just so much time. Once 
  22.     squandered, It can never be recovered. I have the 
  23.     freedom to spend my time wisely, or foolishly. I have no 
  24.     fear that God will strike me with a bolt of lightning if 
  25.     I do not use it for Him. But how can I look into the 
  26.     face of one who loves me so much, who gave His all for 
  27.     me, and say: "I'am sorry. I loved other things, and 
  28.     other people more than you. My time was too valuable to 
  29.     waste on spiritual things."?
  30.     
  31.     1985 has drawn to a close. 1986 is here. God help me to 
  32.     make better use of my time in the coming year than I did 
  33.     in the past.
