  3.                     ARTICLES OF  FAITH

  5. 1.  We believe the whole BIBLE, from Genesis 1:1 to Revela-
  6.     tion 22:21, as the verbally inspired and infallible Word
  7.     of GOD.
  8.  
  9. 2.  We believe Jesus Christ was born of Mary the Virgin, and
  10.     is the SON of GOD, and GOD the SON.
  11.  
  12. 3.  We believe that CHRIST died for our sins according to the
  13.     Scriptures, the Just for the unjust, that he might bring
  14.     us to GOD.
  15.  
  16. 4.  We believe that HE arose from the grave the third day
  17.     according to the scriptures.
  18.  
  19. 5.  We believe that HE, only, is the great High Priest, and
  20.     we need not the intercession of any man, but that CHRIST
  21.     ever liveth to make intercession for us.
  22.  
  23. 6.  We believe that CHRIST will come again in Person, bodily
  24.     and visibly, to establish His Kingdom on the earth.
  25.  
  26. 7.  We believe that in order to be saved, the soul must be
  27.     born again.  "Ye Must Be Born Again." (John 3:7)
  28.  
  29. 8.  We believe that every truly born again soul should de-
  30.     clare his faith by the act of baptism (immersion in wa-
  31.     ter), setting forth the LORD'S death, burial and resur-
  32.     rection.

  34. 9.  We believe that all Christians are called unto a life of
  35.     separation from wordly and sinful practices, and to a
  36.     life of usefulness for CHRIST. (2 Cor. 6:17; 2 Pet. 1:2-9)

  38. 10. We believe that CHRIST keeps those who are truly born
  39.     again. (2 Tim. 1:12; John 10:28)
