- I DIDN'T SPEAK UP
-
- "In Germany, the Nazis first came for the communists, and I didn't
- speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade
- unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then
- they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a
- Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak for me."
-
- Ed. Note: It can't happen here you say? Every time we allow a view to be suppressed because it is "unpopular" we lose a little more of our freedom.
- If YOU don't speak up when someone else's rights are being curtailed - Who
- will speak up for YOUR rights?????
