INTEGRATED ARTS STAFF Since mid September, children in Debbie Amylon Marie Kane grades 1-4 have been exploring the Jackie Cardillo Cathy McCaughey concepts of estimation and measurement, Sue Charron and 2 dimensional versus 3 dimensional Pam Murphy Xaque Gruber Bill Riley forms in their Integrated Arts classes. Insects, Ann Hamilton their physical characteristics as well as life Tim Vigorito Steve Heagney Dave Wade cycles and behaviors, provided a stimulating and rich way to learn about these concepts. In visual art, students created drawings, paintings, sculptures and Big Books. In music, students used rhythm and speech patterns, creative movement and instruments to create music and Big Books. They also studied the relationship between the size of the instruments and pitch. In PE, they participated in games of organization, movement
