BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
The first time you use this program it will create empty data files
in the same directory as the main program. Every time the Shareware
version of the program is run this text viewer will appear. Clicking
on the Continue button will launch you in to the main program. The data
can be accessed from the browse menu.
The program consists of several main files, the first records details of
all of the videos you compile yourself, the second is a file containing information about commercially purchased videos. Related files store information about manufacturers, actors etc and are all user defined.
Data is entered by selecting one of the browse screens and then selecting insert... this will produce a blank input form into which you enter your data.
Pressing the Tab key will move you between fields in the data entry
screen.
The tabs at the top of browse boxes are accessed using the mouse.
Changes are made using the Change button.
Records are removed using the Delete button.
Using the right mouse button within the browse box area will pull up an
edit menu, this can be used instead of the buttons.
A tree view is included, this will allow you to view all videos by clicking on the small mailbox icon to the left of the videos name in the browse box.
The reports options are set to work on the whole file, the registered version
allows the selection of individual records. A preview screen will appear
before printing to give you the chance to cancel the print operation.
