  28. freeDUM 1.10 introduces a new explorer style interface and an advanced new
  29. dialer which replaces the Windows 95 dialer automation used previously. The
  30. dialer can dial silently in the background while you do other tasks and then
  31. notify you by playing a defined wave file.
  32.  
  33. Some of the new features are :
  34.  
  35. - Component design which allows multiple Profiles share the same Connection,
  36.   Log, Launch Folder and Custom Window.
  37. - Launch Folders can launch applications at various times during a connection,
  38.   define applications to launch only one and wait until an application closes
  39.   before continuing or disconnects the connection.
  40. - Close applications launched
  41. - The freeDUM tray icon.

  51. FIXED: Setting a Disconnect time in the schedules dialog generates error "Run Time error 438, Object doesn't support this property or method".
  52. FIXED: Cancel button becomes enabled when disconnected instead of the Abort button.

  59. FIXED: Can not save custom window. Assertion errors.
  60. FIXED: A new custom window is always called "test".
  61. FIXED: Logs would generate all log files from last check up to current date 
  62.        if monthly logging is enabled. This would cause freeDUM to freeze if
  63.        system date increases by a few years.
  64. FIXED: A new log is not saved when created.
  65. FIXED: Selecting view log from the file menu of a Profile and the active log
  66.        file did not exist freeDUM would generate error "Run-time error 91,
  67.        Object Variable or With Block variable not set".
  68. FIXED: Schedules would not take into account the users regional settings and
  69.        give error ""Run time error 438, object does not support this property
  70.        or method".
  71. FIXED: "Make New Launch Folder..." was spelt incorrectly.

  106. 3...INSTALLATION

  109. - Unzip the freeDUM zip file to a temporary directory.
  110.  
  111. - From the start menu or explorer run install.exe from the temporary directory
  112.   and follow the instructions.

  114. - When setup has finished, you can run freeDUM by going to
  115.     Start|Programs|freeDUM menu on the taskbar.
  116.  
  117. - You may delete the zip file and its contents after installation,
  118.   a copy of this file is available in the application's directory.

  124. - Go to Control Panel. Select Add/Remove Programs.

  129. 5...UPGRADING FROM freeDUM 1.0x

  132. freeDUM 1.10 is not fully compatible with earlier versions. Only log files and
  133. custom window designs can be used under freeDUM 1.10. Existing connectons will
  134. not be updated.

  136. To use an existing log file create a log in freeDUM 1.10 and copy the old
  137. log file into the log's folder (not in freeDUM's explorer)
  138.  
  139. To use existing custom window design's copy the config file from the 'Custom'
  140. folder under freeDUM 1.0x to the 'Custom Windows' folder in freeDUM 1.10.

  142. Eairler versions of freeDUM can coexist with freeDUM 1.10 and it is
  143. recommended you do so in case freeDUM 1.10 does not work with your system.
