PPC LASRC is effective in all applications where aggregates are potentially alkali-reactive, particularly where high cement contents are required. Guidelines for alkali limits per cubic metre of concrete are related to the rock type. Maximum permissible cement contents per cubic metre of concrete can thus be calculated for each rock type. PPC LASRC is also resistant to attack by sulphates found in certain soil types and ground water.
