  19. IF YOU HAVE A FIXED-FREQUENCIE MONITOR
  20. (E.G. A VGA OR SVGA) NEVER SELECT THE
  21. 'MS1/2' BUTTON IN BLOWCONF.PRG!!!!!

  23. SELECTED IT IS ENSURED THAT YOUR
  24. MONITOR WON'T GET HORIZONTAL-
  25. FREQUENCIES THAT MIGHT DAMAGE IT!

  28. Short-Manual for the BlowUP030-Demo:
  29. ------------------------------------
  30.  
  31. Run BLOWCONF.PRG (the demo runs only in
  32. 16 colors and with the ATARI-VGA-
  33. adapter installed) and choose the
  34. monitor-type you are using:
  35.  VGA:   fixed frequencies of
  36.         31.5kHz/60Hz
  37.  SVGA:  fixed frequencies of
  38.         31.5/35.5kHz /60Hz
  39.  MS1/2: multiscans, e.g.
  40.         15-38kHz/30-55kHz at 50-100Hz
  41.  
  42. Only with a multiscan you are able to
  43. configure your resulution live, because
  44. they are able to display all values in
  45. a certain range. for VGA/SVGA this
  46. might be very dangerous.

  49. *  All chnges can be returned to their
  50. *  original value with UNDO (or the
  51. *  return-key)
  52. *

  54. LOAD CONF:  displays a list of
  55.      predefined resolutins. In this
  56.      list you find the monitor-type it
  57.      is suitable for. Select one and
  58.      confir with OK to install the
  59.      resolution.
  60. SAVE: The resolution that is configured
  61.      at the moment is saved into the
  62.      'BLOWBOOT.PRG' file in the
  63.      AUTO-folder of your boot-device
  64.      (usually C:).
  65.  
  66. *  ATTENTION:
  67. *
  68. *  BLOWBOOT.PRG has to be the last
  69. *  programm in the AUTO-folder
  70. *  (especially behind MultiTOS and
  71. *  NVDI). Select unsorted in the
  72. *  DESKTOP-menu to be sure
  73.  
  74. After the next RESET the new resolution
  75. will be used if you boot in 16 colors.
  76. If you do not, use the DESKTOP-menu
  77. to switch to 16 colors.
  78.  
  79. The special ability of the
  80. BlowUP030-system is that you are able
  81. to configure the video-parameters very
  82. free. Vertical and horizontal
  83. Screen-position, left, right, upper and
  84. lower margin, interlace-mode and
  85. pixel-clock might be set freely (in
  86. certain margins given by the
  87. Falcon-hardware) TO TAKE OUT THE BEST
  88. OF YOUR MONITOR.
  89. If you have a multiscan and selected
  90. then MS1/2-mode you are able to find
  91. the maximum - step-by-step.
  92.  
  93. With BLOWCONF you are able to install
  94. two resolutions for every color-depth.
  95. BLOWACC enables you to select which one
  96. or even if one of the new resolutions
  97. is used.
  98.  
  99. The SCREEN-SAVER is the newest feauture
  100. of BlowUP030:
  101. If it is active it speeds up the Falcon
  102. at up to 70% (depending on the
  103. Color-mode and resolution).
