  1. GEMBench is Shareware which means that if you like the program
  2. and intend to use it you are required to pay for it. The fee is
  3. minimal and is set at £5.00. If you live outside the UK you may send
  4. foreign currency. Germany - 15.00 DM, US - $10.00.
  5. I normally use foreign money to register software in those
  6. countries.

  10. If you are already registered or your name appears on my thanks
  11. list at the end of the GEMBENCH.TXT file, you will still have to
  12. fill the registration form and send it to me. You are not
  13. required to pay again, but I will need your details again so that
  14. I can give you a User Key.

  18. How to register GEMBench
  19. ------------------------

  21. Run GEMBench and select the Registration menu item from the
  22. GEMBench window menu. The entry is under Options.

  24. Fill in your details in the registration dialog. The User Key
  25. field should be left empty. When you are satisfied click on
  26. Register. This will save a small file called GEMBENCH.REG to your
  27. disk.

  29. (You do not have to include your telephone number)

  31. You can send me the file on a disk, print it out and send me
  32. that, or preferably email it to me via the internet at
  33. ogal@cix.compulink.co.uk

  35. I will then issue you a User Key which is a number you can enter
  36. into the User Key field. Once this is entered, GEMBench will know
  37. you are registered and will display your name in the About
  38. dialog.

  41. The file GEMBENCH.REG should not be deleted, edited or modified
  42. in any way. You are free to give copies of GEMBench away as long
  43. as you DO NOT include the file GEMBENCH.REG. This file is your
  44. private 'protection dongle'.
