- This code comes from the 386BSD project. I have not modified any of the
- source to port it to linux. I have changed the Makefile, and moved the
- fortran functions to a seperate directory. f2c was used to convert the
- fortran to C by the BSD people. I can not get f2c to reproduce what they
- have, so I suspect that they have modifieded the C code produced by f2c. It
- looks like they have done an excellent job, and I would reccomend not trying
- to remake the C from the fortran.
-
- I have included an ascii spice manual in this distribution. I am not sure of
- its origins, but I have used it for several years, and found it helpful. It
- contains no copyright, at least not one I can find. If you want to read the
- copyright for spice, read the comments in the file spice.c or fortran/spice.f.
-
- This distribution contains both the binary, spice, and the source to make it.
- You can install spice in any directory, it does not need to be in any special
- place.
