  4. Vodka                    1 1/2 oz
  5. Tomato juice        3 oz
  6. Lemon juice         2 dashes
  7. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp
  8. Tabasco sauce    
  9. few drops to taste
  10. Salt and freshly ground 
  11. black pepper
  12. Lemon slice or celery stalk
  13.  garnish

  15. Preparation:
  16. Shake the liquid
  17. ingredients together 
  18. along with a few large
  19. ice cubes. Strain into an
  20. old-fashioned glass,
  21. balloon wine glass or 
  22. highball glass.
  23. Sprinkle with salt and 
  24. pepper and garnish with
  25. lemon slice or celery stalk.
  26. Add worchestershire sauce
  27. if desired.
  28. Variation: To make  
  29. Maria substitute tequila
  30. for vodka. To make Danish 
  31. Maria substitute aquavit for
  32. vodka. To make Red 
  33. Snapper substitute gin for 
  34. vodka. To make Virgin 
  35. Mary omit the vodka.
