- White Beans and Tuna

- Serves 6 people

- Canned white beans 7 oz
- Crushed garlic cloves 2
- Fresh rosemary sprig 1/2
- Cracked white peppercorns 2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Small onion, chopped 1
- Extra-virgin olive oil 3 tbs
- Freshly ground black pepper 1 tsp
- 7 oz can of water-packed tuna 2

- Saute the garlic and onions
- until soft. Add the
- rosemary, white pepper,
- and salt and cook for a few
- more minutes. Toss the beans
- with the olive oil and the
- onion/garlic mixture. Season
- with black pepper. Arrange
- beans on a platter. Drain the
- tuna. Break it into small
- chunks and arrange over
- beans. Serve with bread.
