  1. ** 162    Bloody Mary (Variation) **
  2. @This is a variation of 
  3. Bloody Mary - see prep 
  4. below

  6. Serves 1
  7.  
  8. Vodka               1 1/2 oz
  9. Tomato juice    3 oz
  10. Lemon juice    2 dashes
  11. Worcestershire sauce  1/2 tsp
  12. Tabasco sauce    few drops, 
  13.     to taste
  14. Salt and freshly ground
  15.  black pepper
  16. Lemon slice or celery stalk 
  17.   garnish

  19. Preparation:
  20. Shake the liquid 
  21. ingredients together along 
  22. with a few large ice cubes.
  23. Strain into an oldfashioned 
  24. glass, balloon wine glass or
  25. highball glass.
  26. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  27. and garnish with lemon slice
  28. or celery stalk. Add 
  29. worchestershire sauce if
  30. desired.
  31. Variation: To make 
  32. Bloody Maria substitute 
  33. tequila for vodka. To 
  34. make Danish Maria 
  35. substitute aquavit for 
  36. vodka. To make Red 
  37. Snapper substitute gin 
  38. for vodka. To make 
  39. Virgin Mary omit the 
  40. vodka.
