Drink a glass of water before going to bed and keep water close at hand. Coffee, like alcohol, is a diuretic and may actually make you feel worse. Sleep is also very important and when you do wake up, take a dose of vitamin B and try to eat fruits and vegetables. Remember, when you drink a lot, vitamins and nutrients are washed away and need to be replenished. Fructose also helps metabolize alcohol and increase blood sugar levels which will probably be low the morning after. Fruits are also helpful in this regard.
