OCTOBER 7, 1913 Pioneers assembly-line mass production for the Model T Ford. DECEMBER 4, 1915 A pacifist, Ford sends "Peace Ship" negotiators to Europe to try to end World War I. JUNE 1918 Nominated senate candidate for Michigan, but not elected. MAY 26, 1927 15 millionth Model T emerges from the assembly lines. APRIL 7, 1947 Dies in Dearbom, Michigan.
