This little utility disables the ejection of removable SCSI drive media on restart or shutdown. So all your CDs and removable cartridges should stay in their drives.
Just run NoEject and on the next restart or shutdown the ejection of removable media is disabled. NoEject does not patch your system so you have to start it again after a restart or shutdown. If you want to use NoEject all the time just put it in the Startup Items folder.
I have tested NoEject with Apple's and FWB's CD-ROM driver and an Apple CD-ROM drive. I don't know if NoEject works with other drivers or drives. I even don't know if NoEject works with all new PowerMacs, just try it out (Attention: you may get a crash on restart/shutdown or when launching NoEject, so save your work !)
NoEject is FreeWare and can be included on CD-ROM collections but it would be nice if I get a free copy. Of course you can send me postcards, CDs or whatever you want :-)

• NoEject does no longer require to hit a button to go on. This is useful if you put NoEject into the Startup Items folder.
• Some modification to the ReadMe file
• NoEject does not work with SCSI Manager 4.3 (there will be no crash but it simply doen't do anything). This means that NoEject may not work with new CD-ROM drivers on PowerMacs.
