  1. Some of the statements in USING.TXT pertain to the entire 
  2. Library of Wisdom, which fills 9 1.4 MByte disks, 
  3. compressed.  This Library will take about 27,00,000 bytes
  4. of space on your hard disk.  For that reason, it is 
  5. recommended that if you download the entire library, 
  6. you only unzip those files that you will immediately use.

  8. The entire Library is works by early humanist/freethinker/
  9. atheist writers and patriots, such as Thomas Paine, Ethan
  10. Allen, Robert Green Ingersoll, and others.  All the works
  11. in this Library are no longer under copyright.  You are 
  12. free to copy them and distribute them to whomever, wherever
  13. you wish, and are encouraged to do so.

  15. The file CONTENTS.TXT has not been changed from the
  16. original, and to the extent possible, the files that are
  17. listed as being together within one exe file are still
  18. together in the ZIP file bearing the same name.  All files
  19. listed in the CONTENTS.TXT file as having a .DOS extension
  20. have been renamed with a .TXT extension, but are otherwise
  21. unchanged.  All files that are listed with a .EXE extension
  22. are now renamed with a .ZIP extension.  Otherwise these
  23. files are unchanged from the originals, except this 
  24. REAMDME.TXT file, CONTENTS.TXT, BROWSE.COM, USING.TXT and
  25. FILE_ID.DIZ have been added for your convenience, and/or
  26. to appease the FidoNet gods.

  28. This Library was obtained at the American Humanist Association
  29. convention in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 19-21, 1995, but the
  30. thoughts contained within are timeless.
