BP> "The Hydraulic RAM Pump: Perpetual Motion for The

BP> Mother Earth News, but I don't know the issue (Its not on
BP> the copy I got from the Library).
Also take a boo at an old Popular Mechanics 'Do-it-Yourself
Encyclopedia.' It has info on hydraulic RAM's...

G'day Stephen.
SJ> I would like some references on Tesla, ive seen a few echo's on it, also

Provided there's sufficient fall and flow in the creek, a hydraulic ram would be
a good option (although at 20m you may be driven crazy by the periodic 'clack'
that it makes). The distance (20m) is not important, provided that the ratio
between fall/flow that you can get is in a suitable proportion to the rise (and
volume you require) to the outlet.
There's a company that used to advertise the "wilcox hydraulic ram" in the
Weekly Times (Victorian farming newspaper). I can't find 'em in the yellow
pages, though.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
