  16.     This week's Report covers the time period from midnight Thursday
  17.     morning, April 13, Pacific Daylight Time, to midnight 
  18.     Wednesday night, April 19, 1995, Pacific Daylight Time.  We 
  19.     recorded 270 earthquakes of M1.0 or larger during the 7-day 
  20.     period covered.
  21.         We had another relatively quiet week.  The largest quake
  22.     was a M3.4 Northridge aftershock on Saturday afternoon, which
  23.     was fairly widely felt in the San Fernando Valley.  There was
  24.     another Northridge aftershock, this time only M2.5, on Monday
  25.     afternoon.  Like almost all of the Northridge aftershocks, the
  26.     M3.4 was a west-northwest-striking thrust.
  27.         A M2.7 Landers aftershock was felt in Yucca Valley on
  28.     Friday evening.
  29.         Just before noon of Friday, there was a M3.0 near Big
  30.     Bear, which was an aftershock in the Landers/Big Bear sequence.
  31.     For some reason, we didn't get any inquiries about it, although
  32.     it could easily have been felt.
  33.         That's about all the (seismic) news that's fit to print.
  34.         The table lists the quakes this week that were M2.0 or 
  35.     larger in the central part of the coverage area.  Times are local 
  36.     times; if you want Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hrs to the Pacific 
  37.     Daylight Time or 8 hrs to the Pacific Standard Time listed.
