  16.     This week's Report covers the time period from midnight Thursday
  17.     morning, March 2, Pacific Standard Time, to midnight 
  18.     Wednesday night, March 8, 1995, Pacific Standard Time.  We 
  19.     recorded 244 earthquakes of M1.0 or larger during the 7-day 
  20.     period covered.
  21.         We had a very quiet week this week.  The only quake felt 
  22.     was a M3.0 in the northern part of the Northridge aftershock 
  23.     zone on Wednesday morning, which was slightly felt in the 
  24.     northern San Fernando Valley.
  25.         The week's largest quake was a M3.4 just off of San
  26.     Clemente Island last Thursday afternoon.  We got no inquiries 
  27.     about it, since it was almost certainly not felt on the 
  28.     mainland.
  29.         The table lists the quakes this week that were M2.0 or 
  30.     larger in the central part of the coverage area.  Times are local 
  31.     times; if you want Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hrs to the Pacific 
  32.     Daylight Time or 8 hrs to the Pacific Standard Time listed.
