  1. This file is an index to Damon Veach's Louisiana Ancestors genealogy
  2. column found in the New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper for the time
  3. period of January 1985 to December 1992.  It is an index of the names
  4. mentioned in the queries and family histories found in the column.
  5. Names from the family reunions and book reviews are generally not
  6. included unless genealogical data was also included in the write up.
  7. Mr Veach's column runs weekly in the New Orleans Times Picayune, and
  8. can also be found in the Baton Rouge Sunday Advocate Magazine, and
  9. the Monroe News-Star-World.  (All are Louisiana newspapers.)  The 
  10. column can differ slightly from week to week between the newspapers.
